The Operio summer contest started July 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. (Eastern time) and ends September 20, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern time).

Conditions
The contest period is July 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. (Eastern time) to September 20, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern time). There is a limit of one entry per person over the duration of the contest.

How to enter
Simply answer the contest questions. Participants could answer the questions at the Operio Startupfest kiosk on July 11th and 12th. Since then, the contest has been posted on Operio’s website, where people are invited to complete an entry form. Visit https://operio.ca/en/Summer-Contest

Participants must provide their contact information. No purchase is necessary. The contest is open to all Canadian entrepreneurs, founders, presidents or owners of a business (NEQ) over the age of 18, residing in the province of Quebec. Employees of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, Operio, their advertising and promotion agencies, partners, participating merchants, suppliers of prizes, products and services related to this contest or any other party directly involved in the contest, their family, legal or common-law spouse or any person living with these employees, representatives and agents are not eligible.

Draw
The draw will take place on September 24, 2019 in the Operio offices. The prize will be drawn at random from among all participants. Operio will then contact the winner by phone. The winner may claim the prizes at Operio’s offices at 4001 Saint-Antoine Street West, in Montréal. Prizes must be claimed before November 1, 2019 at 4 :00 p.m. (Eastern time). The total combined value of the two prizes is $1,509.
Prizes
A one-year subscription to the Fall package including Receipt Bank, valued at $1,080 and one iPad valued at $429$, for a total value of $1,509. The package includes: access to Quickbooks online, access to Operio’s client portal, access to Receipt Bank, a summary diagnosis of your business, the migration of your accounting balance and access to training.

General terms and conditions
Prize acceptance
Prizes are not transferable, must be accepted as awarded, and may not be substituted or converted to cash, subject to the following paragraph.
Substitution of prize
In the event that, for reasons not related to the winners, the contest organizers cannot award a prize (or part of a prize) as described in these Contest Rules, they reserve the right to award a prize (or part of a prize) of the same nature and of equivalent value or, at their sole discretion, the cash value of the prize (or part of the prize) as mentioned in these Contest Rules.
Refusal to accept a prize
The refusal of a randomly selected person to accept a prize according to the terms and conditions of these Contest Rules releases the contest organizers from any obligation related to that prize for that person.

Prize suppliers’ liability
A person who is selected for a prize recognizes that upon receipt of the confirmation of his or her status as the prize winner, the execution of the services in respect to the prize is the sole responsibility of the supplier of the prize.

Limited liability – contest operation
Operio is not liable for faulty computer components, software, or communication lines, relating to any transmission that is faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible or erased by any computer or network that could limit the possibility or prevent any person from participating in this contest. Operio also will not be held liable for any damages or loss that could arise, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from downloading any Internet page, any software or any form and by the transmission of any data regarding the participation in this contest.

Modifications
Operio reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this contest, in whole or in part, in the case of the occurrence of an event, an error or any human intervention that could corrupt or affect the administration, safety, impartiality or the running of the contest as provided in these Contest Rules, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required. In all cases, the contest organizers, their parent and affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, the suppliers of products or services related to this contest as well as their employees, agents and representatives cannot be held liable to award more prizes than those indicated in these Contest Rules or to award prizes otherwise than in compliance with these Contest Rules.

Limited liability – participation
Any person who participates or tries to participate in this contest releases the contest organizers, their parent and affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives, from any and all liability for damages which he or she could sustain from participating or trying to participate in this contest.

Authorization
By entering this contest, any winner authorizes the contest organizers, their partners and their representatives to use, if required, his or her name, photograph, likeness, declaration related to the prize, place of residence and/or voice without remuneration whatsoever and that, at their discretion and without limit as for the period of use, in any media and on a worldwide scale, for publicity purposes or for any purpose that will or may be pertinent.

Communication with participants
Operio is not obligated to communicate or correspond with participants in the context of this contest except with those selected for a prize.

Identification of the participant
For the purposes of the Contest Rules, the participant is the person whose name appears on the entry form and the prize will be awarded to that person or a parent or tutor, as applicable, if the person is selected and declared the winner.

Litigation
Any litigation regarding the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement
